Survey to Help Update Textbook for Medical Professionals

Nothing About Us Without Us Sign at the 2013 Annual Conference on Independent LivingThe third edition of Rubin & Crocker’s classic Medical Care for Children and Adults with Developmental Disabilities is in progress. This is an important book used in the training of healthcare professionals at medical and graduate schools.

The chapter on residential settings and options is being updated by Bob McCaffrey of Fitmatters, Steven Dale of the National Children’s Center, Jeff Keilson of Advocates Inc., and Jim Conroy of the Center for Outcome Analysis.

They have devised a short survey about trends in how and where people live. The aggregated findings will be included as a “cloud sourced” projection of the probable future. Take the survey.
